Happiness, knowledge, Love and other emotions all lived on an island.
One day they were all told that their island would sink and be consumed.
All of the Emotions starting preparing their boats to leave the island at once.
Love was determined and stayed til the end for her island.
When the island started to sink, Love feared she was going to be left behind.
Love was forced to leave the island.
Love needed help to get off of the island to save her own life.

-Love saw Wealth passing with his brilliant yacht.
Love asked him "Wealth can you please take me with you?"
"oh no!" exclaimed Wealth "I have silver and gold in my boat, there is not place for you Love!"

-Love decided to ask for help from Arrogance and Pride who were also passing by, in their beautiful boat.
"Please help me!" pleaded Love.
"We can't help you Love, you're all wet! You'll ruin our beautiful boat" retorted Arrogance and Pride.

-Sadness was a little further away and Love decided to plead for Sadness's help.
"Sadness, let me come with you please" Love begged
"Oh Love, I'm so sad, I want to be alone" replied Sadness

-Love also saw Happiness passing by. Happiness was so happy that she didn't even notice Love begging for help!

-Suddenly Love heard a voice.
"Love come with me, I'll take care of you" said a very old man.
Love didn't know who this man was. Love was so happy and grateful for this old man to help her.

-When all of the emotions arrived safely on another shore, the kind old man went on his way.
Love had forgotten to ask this kind old man who he was.

-Love asked Knowledge "who was this old man who helped me?"
"That kind old mans name is Time." answered Knowledge
Love explained to Knowledge "Time, he was the only one who had cared enough to help me!"
Knowledge smiled softly and said "Only Time can understand the importance of Love."
